Bobby made his way out of the back stacks, making a mental note that next time he went back there, he was bringing two weeks' worth of provisions.

Bobby was out for a walk with Rumsfeld (who'd already sprinted several yards ahead and was pretty damned hard to see in the dark).

He was in a pretty good mood, so he was whistling "Sunday Morning Sidewalk" by Johnny Cash.

The books fluttered their pages in what was clearly a negative.

"Well, it was worth a shot."

Meg woke up way too early this morning for someone who didn't have any classes. After taking a shower and getting dressed, she went to the common room, turned on cartoons, and started making breakfast. There were waffles, cinnamon rolls, bacon and eggs, and sausage. Bobby was out for a jog with Rumsfeld. After getting dragged over to meet the new kid, though, he'd given up on leashing the mutt.

It was really hot and Jo didn't feel much like being cooped up in her apartment all day. So she put on shorts and a tank top and grabbed a towel and headed down to the lake. One of these days she was going to have to invest in a bathing suit. But today she was content enough to lay back and fall asleep in the sun.
